Gyeon started out in South Korea and has grown into one of the best-known names in car detailing. Professional detailers use their coatings every day, and enthusiasts love them because the results are easy to see: deep gloss, water that beads and sheets straight off, and a car that stays cleaner for longer between washes.

How the Gyeon range works
The names can look a bit confusing at first, but there's a simple pattern:
- Q² products are the protection — ceramic coatings for paint, wheels, glass, trim, leather and fabric.
- Q²M products are the maintenance range — shampoos, pre-washes, decontamination, detailers, towels and mitts. These keep your car (and your coating) looking its best.
- EVO simply means the latest version of a product.
Our five favourite Gyeon products
- Gyeon Q²M WetCoat — spray it on the wet car, rinse it off, done. The quickest way we know to add protection and that "just coated" beading. Our best-selling Gyeon product by a mile.
- Gyeon Q² CanCoat EVO — a ceramic coating in a spray bottle. Perfect if you want real coating protection without the time and nerves of a full bottle-and-applicator coating.
- Gyeon Q²M Bathe+ — a shampoo that tops up your protection while you wash. Brilliant for keeping a coated car looking fresh.
- Gyeon Q²M Iron Wheel Cleaner — turns purple as it breaks down brake dust, so you can see it working. A favourite with customers who hate scrubbing wheels.
- Gyeon Q² Mohs EVO Light — a proper paint coating that's forgiving to apply. A great first "real" coating.
Which Gyeon ceramic coating should I choose?
This is the question we get asked most. Here's the short version:
- Never coated a car before? Start with CanCoat EVO (spray on, wipe off) or One EVO, a simple single-layer coating.
- Want a step up? Mohs EVO Light gives you a proper coating with an easier application.
- Want the full Gyeon experience? Mohs EVO is the one most detailers reach for. Syncro EVO Light uses two layers for extra gloss and slickness.
- Doing the wheels and glass too? Add Rim EVO for wheels and View EVO for glass.

Looking after your car the Gyeon way
A good wash routine is what keeps a coating performing. A simple Gyeon setup looks like this:
- Pre-wash with Q²M Foam to loosen the dirt before you touch the paint.
- Wash with Bathe+ and a soft mitt like the Smoothie EVO.
- Rinse on WetCoat while the car is still wet.
- Dry with a Silk Dryer EVO towel.
No hose? Q²M EcoWash lets you clean the car with a bucket or spray bottle. For the inside, Q²M Interior Detailer cleans dashboards, screens and trim without leaving them greasy.
Gyeon questions we get asked a lot
Can I use Gyeon maintenance products on a car coated with another brand?
Yes. Q²M shampoos, detailers and WetCoat work well on most coatings, sealants and waxes, not just Gyeon's own.
Do I need a machine polisher to apply a Gyeon coating?
No. Coatings go on by hand with an applicator and microfibre cloths. A polisher helps you get the paint looking perfect first, because a coating locks in whatever finish is underneath.
Is WetCoat a ceramic coating?
Not quite. It's a quick spray sealant. It's ideal on its own for easy protection, or as a top-up on a car that's already coated.
