This is a true rotary polisher — the pad spins directly rather than orbiting, giving you serious cutting power for deep scratches and heavily weathered paintwork. It calls for a bit more care and technique than a dual-action machine, so if you're new to rotary correction, our in-house rotary polishing training courses are a great place to start.
How long does the battery last? Runtime depends on speed and pressure, but the constant-speed electronics keep full cutting power right up until the LED display shows the battery's nearly done — no drop-off as it drains.
Can I use my existing FLEX 18V batteries with it? Yes — it's compatible with the full FLEX 18V battery range (2.5, 5.0 and 8.0 Ah), so the two 5.0 Ah packs in this Set can be topped up with others you may already own.
