The Best Way To Clean Dirty, Stained, Fabric Seats With GLICO & DUCTILE

Labocosmetica GLICO and DUCTILE, paired together, are known as the 2pH system. And, if you've got dirty fabric seats, they're a powerful combination.

GLICO is a fabric and textile cleaner that has been formulated with glycolic acid. It will highlight dirt and stains that cannot initially be seen with the naked eye. It'll also leave fabrics fluffy and refreshed.

DUCTILE is Labocosmetica's alkaline-based, all-purpose-cleaner. Diluted at 1:10, it neutralises GLICO and completes the 2pH system.

Used with the correct tools, GLICO and DUCTILE will leave affected upholstery completely refreshed and, most importantly, safe to sit on again.

How To Use Labocosmetica GLICO

  1. Vacuum the surface. This will remove residual dirt and prepare the surfaces.

  2. Use the FABRIC SEAT BRUSH. This will remove further dust and dirt burried in the fabrics of your seats. A key step so that GLICO can perform as intended.

  3. Dilute GLICO 1:5. This is a simple step when you have a Dilution Spray Bottle. Fill up with water to the 1:5 line, then add GLICO until you reach the MAX line.

  4. Spray GLICO on all affected areas. Allow it to work for 2-3 minutes.

  5. Scrub. Using the DUO Scrub Pad will help GLICO get into the fibres of the seat and treat the stains.

  6. Dry extract for a thorough decontamination. You will need an extractor, such as the Bissell SpotClean PRO for this task, or simply a vacuum cleaner capable of sucking up liquids.

How To Use Labocosmetica DUCTILE

  1. Dilute DUCTILE 1:10. Fill a second dilution bottle up to the 1:10 line with water, then add DUCTILE up to the MAX line.

  2. Apply DUCTILE to the seat. This step neutralises the glycolic acid found in GLICO and acts as the final part to the 2pH system.

  3. Ideally steam or wet extract. Both chemicals have done their job, however using a steamer will help to kill bacteria. Wet extracting finishes the process.

  4. Allow the seat to dry. You'll now have lovely clean seats. If you're dealing with really stubborn stains, repeat the process or feel free to contact us for help.
