Fighting holograms and swirl marks that keep creeping back after every correction pass? The FLEX XCE 2 8 14-EC C brings rotary-level cutting power to a dual-action polisher, so you can tackle medium scratches, oxidation and holograms on automotive, marine and aviation paintwork — without the swirl risk of a free-spinning DA.
FLEX's new-generation brushless forced-rotation polisher replaces the popular XCE 10-8 125, with a more efficient motor, lower vibration and finer control. Unlike a free-spinning dual action polisher, the XCE 2 8's forced rotation drive keeps the pad turning even under load, giving it the cutting power of a rotary with the swirl-free safety of a DA — ideal for correction work on hard or weathered paint.

Your Questions Answered
- Is the XCE 2 8 14-EC C suitable for beginners? Its forced-rotation drive gives more bite than a standard free-spinning DA, so it suits detailers who already have some correction experience. If you're newer to machine polishing, start on a lower speed setting with a pad designed for forced rotation.
- How is this different from a normal dual action polisher? A standard DA lets the pad stall under pressure, which protects paint but limits cutting power. The XCE 2 8's forced rotation keeps the pad spinning under load, giving you rotary-level correction with far less swirl risk than a true rotary.
- What pad and backing plate size does it take? Up to 150 mm, and it's supplied with a special damped locking disc.
- Is it compatible with my existing FLEX system? Yes — it works with the FLEX 1-Step polishing system.
- What's it like to run for longer sessions? At 79 dB(A) and 4.7 m/s² vibration, plus a soft-grip handle and rubberised resting bar, it's built for comfortable, fatigue-free correction work.
